Micro-learning:

There is currently a lot of discussion on how education is failing society, people are frustrated with the length of time spent in school, the debt accumulated and yet there are still some gaps in skills required to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving world. I see a future where all unnecessary and lengthy courses will be eliminated, and people will rather go for programs that are short and focused on the skills desired. This will reduce the length of time spent acquiring skills and as a result the cost of education will be reduced.

The Accounting Specialist Accelerated Program is major and skill focused, hence a 2 years accounting program in a regular college has been condensed into a 3 - 9 months focused program. The school also currently uses a blended program style were online trainings are available to students but students still come to a live virtual or face-to-face classroom to receive some lectures and get their questions answered.
